The Benefits of Vitamins in Healthy Living

The Benefits of Vitamins in Healthy Living are Hard to Ignore!

As a female I have been looking for tips to improve my health and have come across a great deal of info geared towards women such as my special woman’s diet.

Trying to improve your health is a very important and a very admirable goal and if you are a female then there are various special steps you can take that differ from the methods men use to get towards good health as I have discovered.

All of us need to exercise and have a healthy diet but I quickly learned that the types of workouts women should do and the diet they eat should differ in several key ways from men.

Men have a different hormonal level and body type and size in general and so this is the reason why as a woman you shouldn’t necessarily follow all the health tips that are geared towards men.

As a woman you should have a special woman’s vitamin as woman tend to be deficient in certain vitamins more than men and vice versa. As such a woman’s formula will be geared towards this difference.

In addition women will want lighter workouts because of their lower muscle mass which works well for me given that my female health club has activities that fit this requirement.

Get the right vitamins if you want to stay healthy.

Healthy Eating and Why We Need the Right Vitamins

To eat healthily you need to include vitamins in your diet!

The benefits of vitamins are not unknown to Americans, or so we think.

Walk into a typical supermarket or drugstore and you are overwhelmed by the choices of dietary supplements available.

But what benefits do all these vitamins actually provide; do they live up to their reputation?

In Boston at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a study published in The Journal of the American Medical Association suggests that the answer may be no.

In this study, researchers looked at vitamins C and E and found no evidence that they decreased the risk of heart disease in men.

On the contrary, their results suggested that vitamin E could actually raise the risk of a bleeding stroke.

In a separate study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, researchers concluded that Calcium and vitamin D supplements did not reduce the risk of breast cancer.

A CNN panel of medical expert had some words to say about these findings and offered their own advice concerning the benefits of vitamins.

Dr. Andrew Weil and Dr. Walter Willett suggest not taking iron or calcium supplements without the direction of a physician due to possible risks.

Dr. Christiane Northrup suggest that women not take iron if they have reached menopause as it is usually unnecessary.

Dr. Melina Jampolis suggests getting proper nutrition from your diet and not from supplements, as the benefits of the supplements are dubious while one never goes wrong with a healthy diet.

So be careful how you get your vitamins!

Why Women Diet To Get Rid Of Fat!

Seems like I am always on a diet – and here’s why…

Cellulite!

Every woman who hears the word instantly cringes and thinks of that particular part of their body that has or shows signs of having the dreaded orange peel-like surface!

Hundreds of fad diets, lotions and supplements geared toward women have offered miracle cures to rid the body of the effects of these fatty cells that have collected under the skin.

Unfortunately, many of these products do little more than lighten the pocketbook and frustrate the buyer.

However, most of the creators of these many options agree that the benefit of a special woman’s diet as well as a regular exercise routine has proven to lessen the signs of cellulite.

The fact is every woman needs to store some fat. It’s essential during times of menstruation, pregnancy and lactation.

However, it’s the amount of fat that one retains after these events that create the long term storage of this fat called cellulite.

Every woman is fighting the effects of this to some degree so it is important for every woman to have a special woman’s diet and exercise plan of their own.

Whether it is joining a female health club, engaging in a round of ladies golf or joining a ladies yoga group, studies show that regularly exercising and enjoying a reduced calorie diet will diminish your cellulite!

We all know that this isn’t easy.

It takes time to find the best options for you.

Diets low in fat, calories and sodium that are both filling and satisfying take work to perfect, but once you’ve designed your own special woman’s diet and mastered an exercise routine that you can retain, you will see that it was worth every bit of effort you’ve put into it.
