I Just Love The Best Women In Sport – They are my Heros!
Humans are attracted to star power because we all love heroes and thus the best women in sport are idolized.
In the modern world star power is most commonly manifested via athletics. The reason for this is that athletics is the modern day equivalent of the gladiators of Rome.
It takes special skill and special strength to excel in Athletics.
Most of us love sports because we grow up playing them and having tons of fun doing so.
We quickly realize though that we are limited in the level of skill we can achieve.
Because of the immense time commitment required and because of the fact that genetics and other factors beyond our control play into how good of an athlete we can be most of us peak well below our maximum capability.
We can hit our own personal bests in terms of fitness by working out hard and watching our diet but for most of us playing professionally in any sport is very difficult.
As such most of us can appreciate the immense difficulty of the feats accomplished by our favorite athletes and we idolize them for it. This is why the best men and the best women in sport enjoy a very special status.
The best women in sport are able to demonstrate a skill level that most of us can only dream of.
I just wish I could be like them just a litte bit…
